Ruth Spiegel is a psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. Ruth’s areas of expertise are:  Trauma, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), BSP (Brainspotting), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Hypnosis, and the shame resilience curriculum by Brené Brown. Ruth is also a licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. 

Ruth’s therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, Ruth will work with you to build on your strengths, attain personal growth and strengthen connections and embrace new possibilities. In addition, Ruth’s co-therapist, Buddy, at times will participate upon client request. Buddy is a Wheaton Terrier. On a more personal side, Ruth has a rich life of performing as a professional singer. 

Ruth graduated from St.Mary’s University with masters in Marriage and Family therapy, and she received her licensure in alcohol and drug counseling (LADC) from the University of Minnesota.
