Alexanne McKee, Intern
Alexanne believes that meaningful growth occurs when individuals feel safe enough to be seen as they are. She strives to create a collaborative, supportive space where clients can explore their interpersonal relationships, lived experiences, and sense of identity. Her style is compassionate and curious, focused on working with clients to deepen self-understanding and move closer toward their goals. She views growth as a non-linear, deeply personal experience and aims to help clients navigate their stories with greater clarity and self-compassion.
Alexanne takes a systems-based perspective, recognizing how relationships, culture, and broader contexts shape each person’s identity. She values the privilege of hearing clients’ unique stories and collaborating with them to foster insight and healing. She has a particular interest in working with couples, individuals, relationship concerns, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, and adjustments to major life transitions.
Alexanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St.Thomas. She is currently a master’s student in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys nature walks, exploring new restaraunts and connecting with friends and family.
Alexanne is supervised by Gail Yost, MA, LMFT-S, a MN Board Approved Supervisor.
